The Shoreditch Festival

4th of August 2007 - 18th of August 2007

The Shoreditch Festival

The Shoreditch Festival is a free, 2 week summer festival. This year’s 45 events bring together the communities of Shoreditch, and give the many local groups, businesses, schools, artists and individuals an opportunity to become involved in the regeneration of Shoreditch.

The Shoreditch Festival is produced by Shoreditch Trust, a community-led regeneration agency funded through the Department for Communities and Local Government’s New Deal for Communities programme until 2010. Shoreditch Trust covers most of Shoreditch and Hoxton in the London Borough of Hackney. The Trust manages a range of projects, addressing the Government’s key Neighbourhood Renewal themes, including cutting edge interventions in Neighbourhood Management, Housing Renewal, Crime and Community Safety, Health and Wellbeing, Education and Worklessness, and Community Assets. The Trust delivers a programme of cultural regeneration through a range of projects including the Shoreditch Festival and Shoreditch Audiences, inspiring community engagement.
