Well with three successful Loopallu’s behind us, our little event in the North West Highlands is becoming more like a family reunion that you actually want to go to!!
Yep, in three years we’ve experienced all weather conditions the heavens have to offer, and still we keep smiling!! Loopallu 2007 was a tad windy, but it’ll take more than that to dampen all our spirits.
If you’ve not been before, Loopallu takes place in the breathtaking setting (and at same time doubling the population) of the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool, here on the shores Loch Broom in the North West of Scotland. Our friendly family festival is a fantabulous weekend for all, with activities for all ages and music for all ears, it is little wonder tickets fly out of the office once they go on sale.
Loopallu 2007 sold out months before the festival, so you have been warned… don’t think about it, just do it!! And after Franz Ferdinand appearing for their only UK festival show of 07 tongues are already wagging with speculation of who’ll be here in 2008. But big or small names, does it matter? We all come together with one common idea.. to have fun!!
And we haven’t even mentioned the pub fringe shows, street entertainment, mouth-watering local food and drink. A weekend under the brightest stars in the sky (if its not cloudy!), Loopallu 2008 is a must in your diary if it isn’t already!!
