Cambridge Rock Festival

The recent wet weather has indicated our decision to use the indoor arena and covered stages to be a great move, all the atmosphere but without the mud! Stages 2 and 3 are now confirmed - see CRF at a Glance for the line up. This year is going to be the best yet with the likes of Thunder, Dr Feelgood, The Australian Pink Floyd Show, to mention just a few.
You can camp from 2pm Thursday 16th August until 11am Monday 20th August. The campsite has a well drained surface for vehicles. There is lighting to the site entrance, exit, the main roadways and toilet area. There are showers in the permanent male, female and disabled toilet blocks in the field.
Expect craft stalls, a coffee shop, clothes and craft stalls and a collectors vinyl & CD fair. All the normal festival food (including vegetarian) is available, from Thai curry to a full roast on Sunday in the centre's own restaurant. This year's event has an even bigger selection of real ales, lagers, ciders, wines & spirits.
For children, there is also a '
ets Corner' with rabbits, llamas, donkeys and horses etc. on the Animal Shelter site.
